Attacking B-17G Bombers
Extra caution is required to take on these "Flying Fortresses", especially head on. If you approach too slowly, you're dead. There are turrets in the nose, on top and on the bottom. Waist gunners and tail gunners are deadly when attempting to take them on from behind. The best approaches are between 11 and 1 o'clock high, but not at 12 o'clock (both the nose and turret gunners have an easy target that way). Don't fire until they fire first; you'll be closer for effective use of your firepower.
